Newly established online wine retailer, South Africa House of Wine, announced its official launch on 28 November, which brings to market the UK’s largest range of South African wines.

As one of the UK’s dedicated retailers of South African wine, the new business aims to better the availability and range of high quality South African wines on offer in the UK, focusing solely on the finest bottles from the country’s most popular producers and regions.

After being identified earlier this year as the world’s 9th largest wine-producing country, South Africa’s wines have rapidly increased in popularity, with global wine connoisseurs and enthusiasts sparking huge demand and resulting in an exciting period of change for the country’s wine market.

Matt Deary, general manager of South Africa House of Wine commented on the launch: “Over recent months, customers of our established wine businesses (Cadman Fine WinesBrook & Vine and New Zealand House of Wine) have shown a heightened interest in New World wines, particularly, the wines of South Africa. In order to satisfy this demand and fill a gap in the UK market, the launch of South Africa House of Wine will be a welcome addition to our ever-growing portfolio”.

All wines have been selected by the company’s team of wine professionals, who have over 100 years of collective experience in the wine industry. The company lists wines from a variety of regions, such as Constantia, Stellenbosch and Walker Bay and includes elite producers such as Elgin Vintners, Waterford Estate and Boekenhoutskloof. With more than 230 wines on offer, the merchant stocks the UK’s most comprehensive selection of South African wine, together in one place.

Bottles are available to buy now from www.sahouseofwine.co.uk. No minimum order applies and delivery is available throughout the UK.
