For the second consecutive year, leading supplier for South Africa’s label printing and packaging industry, ROTOCON, has confirmed its sponsorship of the 2022 edition of WineLand‘s 30 UNDER 30 Awards.
Now in its third year, the annual WineLand & ROTOCON 30 UNDER 30 recognises the most promising young wine ambassadors actively working in the SA wine industry.
“We continue to shine the spotlight on the young voices who make a difference,” says editor of WineLand, Wanda Augustyn.
“We’re grateful for the support of ROTOCON. Together, we form a powerful synergy dedicated to identifying and recognising our industry’s leaders of tomorrow, and thus, paving their way to prosperity.”

The ROTOCON team: Patrick Aengenvoort, Banie Stafford, Henk Crous (Sign & Seal), Michael Aengenvoort, John Lomberg and Pascal Aengenvoort.
The partnership also highlights ROTOCON’s commitment to youth and technology development in the industry, echoing their mantra of bringing people together. “Despite the challenges that our country’s youth are facing, there’s immense potential to be unlocked,” says ROTOCON director and co-owner Michael Aengenvoort.
“Giving back is engrained in ROTOCON’s DNA. We’re committed to the development and mentorship of SA wine’s young movers and shakers. We’re confident that this award will inspire them to go above and beyond their duty.”
Thirty of #sawine’s boldest young minds, including winemakers, viticulturists, soil scientists, sommeliers, wine marketers, harvest assistants, brand ambassadors, bloggers, social media influencers (and everything else in between), will be honoured at an award luncheon later this year (date and venue to be confirmed) as well as being featured in WineLand‘s June 2022 print edition.

“In order to grow this industry initiative and see it go from strength to strength, our partnership with ROTOCON allows us to up the ante this year, and honour our rising stars in spectacular fashion. Watch this space,” Wanda comments.
“We hope the 30 Under 30 initiative will motivate young people to pursue their ambitions. We’re excited to once again, partner with WineLand to recognise, honour and salute the rising stars of our industry,” Michael concludes.
