Two South African wines have been named in Wine Spectator’s Top 100 Wines of 2018.

Hamilton Russell Vineyard’s 2017 Chardonnay Hemel-en-Aarde Valley (rank 57) and Sadie Family‘s 2016 Skerpioen Swartland (rank 93) both made the prestigious list scoring 93 and 95 points respectively.

The magazine’s special Top 100 issue, available on newsstands now, unveils the complete list. Each pick is based on quality (score), value (price), availability (cases made or imported) and an X-factor the editors define as “excitement.”

The complete list can be found here: https://top100.winespectator.com/lists/.
