Grande Provence, the landmark Heritage Wine Estate in Franschhoek, have appointed Vinesse Wine and Spirit Merchants to manage the national sales and distribution of their wines.
As specialists in sales, marketing and brand building for boutique size and family-owned wine brands, Vinesse is a perfect fit for the Grande Provence and Angels Tears wines.
“Boutique wineries usually have intriguing stories to tell and in this highly competitive market, it is important to nurture relationships and convey these stories to the trade and consumers alike,” says Lee-Anne Bosman, General Manager of Vinesse, who welcomes the addition of the Grande Provence wines to the Vinesse portfolio.
With award winning wines across a variety of price points, the elegant Grande Provence range and easy drinking Angels Tears wines cater for all tastes. During 2018 Grande Province wines garnered no less than three gold medals for their maiden 2017 Chenin Blanc vintage at three top South African wine competitions: Veritas, Michelangelo International Wine Awards and the Old Mutual Trophy Wine Show. The flagship The Grande Provence White 2016 also excelled with a Double Gold medal at the Michelangelo International Wine Awards.
“It is important to have diversity in our portfolio and the inclusion of Grande Provence, with its magnificent setting, gives us the opportunity to represent hand-crafted wines from Franschhoek,” Bosman adds.
Located in the heartland of South African wine country, Grande Provence offers true South African wine heritage, exceptional food and luxury boutique accommodation.
