Platinum galore for South Africa

The DWWA (Decanter World Wine Awards) is now in its 14th year and is one of the most influential wine competitions with over 17 000 entries this year. The competition is judged by a panel of top wine experts from around the world, with wines gaining over 95/100 points being awarded platinum for the best wine in a category. This year’s event took place in London.
South African wines that won platinum medals were: Uva Mira The Dance Cabernet Franc 2014, Nederburg The Anchorman Chenin Blanc 2016, Rustenburg Red Muscadel 2015, Saronsberg Full Circle Shiraz-Grenache-Mourvèdre-Viognier 2015 and Trizanne Signature Wines 2016.
