Shane Allchin appointed MD of Meridian Wine Merchants

Meridian Wine Merchants is pleased to announce that Shane Allchin has been appointed Managing Director of Meridian Wine Merchants effective 1 August 2019.
Shane joined Meridian Wine Merchants in 2016 as Group Sales Executive and was appointed Sales Director in 2017. He has over 28 years’ experience in the liquor industry in senior management roles across diverse geographies in Africa gained during his previous tenures at companies such as Brandhouse and Diageo Africa.
“Shane has made a significant contribution to the successful growth of Meridian over the last 3 years, and we congratulate him on this new role as Managing Director,” says Meridian Holdings CEO, Gavin Dittmar.
Shane takes over the role of Managing Director of Meridian Wine Merchants from Gavin Dittmar who will focus on our growth strategy in his role as CEO of Meridian Holdings.
