WBWE Amsterdam is working on its most challenging show with the aim of rebooting the industry
· 2 min read

The biggest global fair devoted to the trade of large volumes of wine will once again be held on 23-24 of November in Amsterdam aiming to inspire a sector that is going to need more drive than ever.
The WBWE assumes its position responsibly, not only as a trade fair, but also as the international meeting point that manages to gather professionals from over 60 different countries every year. We are working hard in order to rise to the occasion and provide the best business platform for all-sized companies —from the largest to the smallest—: a commercial event adapted to what each and every company and worker needs and seeks.
Renowned professionals from the sector have already confirmed their attendance to the WBWE Amsterdam 2020 and we hope to announce much-needed good news very soon which will certainly push the boat out on November.
We would also like to take this opportunity to remind you that business has not stopped within the Bulk Wine Club (BWC). The BWC is the on-line platform devoted to the bulk wine sector that we —the WBWE— have made available for all our clients and now as well for all those professionals who can prove their connection to the wine industry and request their membership: https://bulkwineclub.com/become-a-member
Within the BWC, you can find out the latest and most relevant news on the sector, the most updated figures and data provided by the OEMV (Spanish Wine Market Observatory) exclusively for the BWC’s members, alongside articles from wine writers as renowned as Sharon Nagel and Cruz Liljegren, who report exclusively for the BWC every month.
You can request to join the Club and keep up to date with the sector via this on-line platform; meanwhile we are working on reuniting all of us in the greatest wine trade fair, tailored to precisely meet the needs of the sector, in November.

How research is changing the wine we drink
Wine research starts long before the bottle reaches the shelf. It gives producers a better understanding of what happens in the vineyard and cellar, while providing evidence for decisions that can affect the wine consumers eventually drink.

Precision Fermentation: Biotech to balance Flavours, Acid and Alcohol
As warmer vintages widen the gap between ripeness and freshness, a new generation of selected yeasts lets winemakers rebalance wine during fermentation, not after.
