The 51st VINITALY wine show will be held from 9 to 12 April at the Verona Fairgrounds in Italy. This wine show featured 4,100 exhibitors from 30 countries (including South African exhibitors) and saw 130,000 trade visitors and 2,600 journalists in 2016. As in the past, there will be close association between VINITALY and the parallel exhibition SOL&AGRIFOOD so that the close partnership between olive oil, farm food and wine can be highlighted.
The marriage between food and wine, with constant pairings and tastings arranged around representatives of prestigious restaurants, makes a major impact upon sales.
