With over two decades experience in the narrow web printing industry, Marco brings a wealth of knowledge and a track record of driving growth and innovation. Marco’s entry into the narrow web industry was with the German branch of Rotoflex, later sold to Mark Andy. In 2008, Marco and his father Michael Aengenvoort established ROTOCONTROL with a vision to deliver high quality inspection, slitter/rewinder machines tailored to the operator’s experience. They focused on intuitive, user-friendly designs that maximized automation with a full integration of premium components, and a modular approach to meet the evolving demands of printers.
Marco led ROTOCONTROL as managing director and built the company into a brand renowned for engineering a broad spectrum of customisable, high-quality finishing machines supported by an international distribution network. In 2017, ROTOCONTROL was acquired by EMT International, an American manufacturer specialising in finishing equipment and accessories for the printing and converting industries, with Marco continuing his managing director role until October 2024.
ROTOCON is a family-owned business led by Michael Aengenvoort along with his sons Pascal, Patrick, and now Marco. The company focuses on cultivating long-term relationships with its customers and is committed to engineering excellence, ensuring that its products and partners adhere to high standards.
Over 400 ROTOCON machines are already installed world-wide.
Michael Aengenvoort, ROTOCON Group CEO said: “We are thrilled to welcome Marco into this pivotal role within the ROTOCON Group. His extensive experience and innovative vision will help drive our commitment to excellence and enhance the global presence of the ROTOCON brand.
“United as a family and with the support of our dedicated employees, we will continue to serve the industry in delivering innovative printing and finishing solutions that prioritise the needs of our customers.”
