ROTOCON has expanded its global footprint with the launch of ROTOCON USA, a new operation managed by industry veterans Jeff Ludwig, Cooper Ludwig, Bob Fudala, and Jeff Haddad. Based in Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey, the new division in the USA provides American printers and converters with direct access to ROTOCON’s high-performance ECOLINE and CHROME label printing, converting, and finishing equipment, backed by local service and support.
With over 250 years of combined industry experience, the U.S. team offers a comprehensive portfolio of services, including press relocations, preventive maintenance, press rebuilds, asset appraisals, and the buying and selling of new and pre-owned equipment, accessories, parts & consumables. Ten service technicians are strategically positioned across the country to ensure fast response times for installation, training, and technical support.
“ROTOCON USA is founded on the principle of putting the customer first,” said Cooper Ludwig. “For decades, many converters we have worked with have been disappointed by traditional OEMs that no longer deliver the service and innovation they once relied on. By partnering with ROTOCON, we are introducing a fresh alternative: reliable, servo-driven equipment, competitive pricing, and a service model built around responsiveness and trust.”
To ensure immediate availability and minimize downtime, a full inventory of spare parts and consumables is stocked in New Jersey, USA. Customers can also take advantage of trade-in options regardless of manufacturer on their legacy asset, making upgrades to modern ROTOCON technology more affordable and delivering stronger ROI.
Jeff Ludwig added: “Our partnership with ROTOCON came after vetting a number of manufacturers worldwide. ROTOCON stood out for its sleek, dependable equipment and its unwavering commitment to customer service. This launch is more than a business expansion—it’s about giving North American converters the tools, expertise, and support they need to succeed in a highly competitive market.”
When asked about ROTOCON USA and what sets them apart in the North American market, Jeff Haddad stated: “At ROTOCON USA, we knew we would have to be more than just an equipment supplier to stand out in this market—we’re a true partner to converters. With a dedicated U.S. presence, we deliver faster response times and localized support that customers can rely on. Our team offers 24/7 technical service, always on hand for advisory and troubleshooting, so production never has to stop. With our team of industry veterans, we can offer expert consultations and on-site service in addition to trade-in options. Every system we offer is modular and upgradable, giving converters the flexibility to configure equipment around their needs.”
Bob Fudala added: “We call it affordable innovation—German precision paired with cost-effective design. And because our tooling is compatible not only with ROTOCON equipment but also with most American OEM narrow-web platforms, we’re uniquely positioned to support hybrid pressrooms running mixed brands. Simply put, our mission is to bring world-class technology closer to North American converters — and to back it up with total support, every step of the way.
U.S. printers and converters can meet Cooper Ludwig and Jeff Haddad at ROTOCON’s stand 4D21 during Labelexpo Europe, taking place September 16–19 in Barcelona, Spain. ROTOCON will showcase a robust lineup of printing and finishing technology in partnership with HS Machinery, including the CHROME 450 flexo press, the ECOLINE RDF 340 digital label converting system, and the ECOLINE RSI 540 slitting and inspection machine.
